finally we heard from mich at 2:30am. her luggage was on a different plane than she was and her cell phone that was already paid for did not arrive. but her attitude was typical and her voice was a welcomed sound for me!!!! great barrier reef today and a new cheap swimsuit to sub for the one in the luggage-to-come. reminds her of hawaii there---open-air shops, lobbies, etc. small airport, cordial workers reassuring 20 kids about their bags.
 

last night the call came at 1:30 am. mich's luggage was at the hotel when she woke up, so now she's hoping to return the spare swimsuit.
they went SCUBA DIVING! she was almost disqualified---you guessed it---for a history of fainting. but they let her go because it hasn't happened in a year. the sights were not as amazing as walt and amy lane described in hawaii, so either it was a bad day at the reef or they took them to not-so-great a spot. a very happy girl on the phone. thanks to everyone who prayed for her safety with us.

this is bailey's fifth grade science and math class. I am mr. mac, baileys teacher. bailey thought it would be neat to talk to you while she was at school. We hope you are having fun and getting to do things that we can only dream about. have fun and take care.

Michelle!!! I was just wondering if they have Starbuck coffee in Australia. Thought I might overnight some to you if you can't find any over there. Hope you are having fun and are learning a lot. Gran- O and I are doing fine. She is(you guessed it) quilting and I am reading her all the things people are writing to you. We love you and keep the messages coming.
