Welcome to Indiana! You have already learned two significant things about the Midwest, and Indiana in particular: scuba diving is BIG here (We can at least pretend we're in the ocean when we're under water)and chivalry is, if not dead, definitely in the ICU. I don't know why that is, but opening doors for women is a rare, rare thing here. However, today's AUGUST weather makes up for just about anything now, doesn't it?

When are you coming to Muncie to see us? I'm out of town this week but should be here most of the Fall. Come see us!
