The quotable Rushton.

My economics professor...

"So you all get to take finance next term? Weeeeeee!!!"

Student's cell phone rings in class, playing a pop song.
"I'm glad that turned off before I started dancing."

In the middle of a lecture about publishing companies:
"May I now digress with a poem?" (?!) He performs (quite well, actually) a reading of a Clyde James poem about authors' egos. Then, with no commentary, we immediatley return to our lecture.

"Life is too short for 2,000 word contracts. This is what makes life interesting."

(Only to an economist, Professor. Only to an economist.)

I'm loving my professors. :)
